Known disease (root fix next session)

Tree rebuilds do not sweep old lineage objects -> Navigator
accumulates .0NN duplicate layers (seen to .010). v1_023 dedupes at
isolate-time; REAL fix is tree-side sweep-before-rebuild.

Held features (scoped)

• 'Show Empty Stages' opt-in button (9 bare Stage_N_Surface platforms;

generator surface block lines ~1500-1522 is the spec; NOT via Reset)

• Present Stage -> generic 'Render PNG' (capture current view, any

scene; retire/absorb F025)
